Ibrâhim Hossam

Ivan Blanco is a seasoned professional in environmental engineering and water management, currently serving as a Senior Researcher for Industrial Wastewater at ArcelorMittal since April 2024, where responsibilities include managing water and wastewater R&D projects in the steel industry. Previously, Ivan was a Project Manager at Aqualia, coordinating international R&D projects, and a Senior Process Engineer at Severn Trent Water, focusing on water and wastewater treatment processes. Ivan's extensive experience also encompasses roles as a Research Associate at Cardiff University, a PhD candidate at the University of León, and various research and intern positions in environmental data analysis and treatment systems. Ivan holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Universidad de León, an MSc from Florida International University, and a BSc from Coventry University and Universidad de León.
