Thomas Alford

Senior Vice President at Saunders Construction

Thomas Alford began their work experience as a Project Manager at Hensel Phelps Construction Co. in November 1996. In this role, they proactively managed all phases of projects, including project pursuit and completion of the warranty period. Thomas successfully managed multiple projects concurrently with values up to $200,000,000 and utilized various delivery methods.

Alford then joined McWhinney Real Estate in July 2007 as a Sr. Project Manager. Thomas continued their successful project management career until August 2008.

In August 2008, Alford took on a new role as the Senior Vice President of Saunders Construction, Inc. In this position, they provided strategic oversight and direction for the company's self-performed commercial concrete services and wholly-owned equipment subsidiary. Thomas also oversaw all large, Denver-based work acquisition, plan management, construction operations, corporate oversight of general superintendents, quality control and warranty, scheduling, and contract administration.

Thomas Alford's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at the University of Washington to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Thomas completed their undergraduate studies in 1993. Afterward, they furthered their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington from 1993 to 1995.
