Keely Orlando

Director of Early Childhood Education, K-12 Teaching & Learning at SAUSD

Keely Orlando has worked for the Santa Ana Unified School District since 1997. Initially, they served as a Bilingual Kindergarten Teacher from July 1997 to June 2000. Later, they took on the roles of Early Childhood Education Coordinator from 2008 to 2013, and subsequently became the Director of Early Childhood Education in 2013.

Keely Orlando received a High School Diploma from Corona Del Mar High School in 1991. Following that, they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine - School of Social Ecology in 1996. In 1998, Keely completed their Master of Arts degree in Education from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including a Child Development Program Director Permit in 2004, a Crosscultural Language and Academic Development Credential in 1998, and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in 1998, all from the California Department of Education.
