Alissa Gunter

Alissa Gunter is an experienced maritime professional with a background in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as a Mate at Sause Bros. Ocean Towing Co., Inc. since January 2022, Alissa previously held the position of Second Mate at Kirby from April 2019 to March 2022. Earlier experience includes a Deck Cadet role at Crowley and Military Sealift Command, where Alissa participated in cargo operations and navigational watches. Alissa's foundational experiences also span lifeguarding and swim instruction at Grossmont Union High School District and Pine Springs Ranch. Alissa earned a degree from California State University Maritime Academy between 2015 and 2019.
