Byron Kimani

Byron Kimani is a Software Engineer currently working at Savannah Informatics. Byron has experience in designing secure onboarding workflows, dockerizing applications, developing chat systems, creating low-latency GraphQL clients, and maintaining open-source packages. Byron has also provided technical guidance and mentorship to interns, participated in user validation field trips, and increased code test coverage through automated testing. Prior to their current role, Byron worked as a Software Engineer Intern at the same company and as a Mobile Engineer at Biasara, where Byron migrated codebases, optimized SQL queries, and containerized services. Byron holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kenyatta University and a CCNA certification from Cisco Networking Academy.
