Kevin Tam

Kevin Tam is a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions since April 2022. In this role, they automated a paper workflow process into a web client and API application using .NET Core and React. Prior to this, they worked at Pfizer from September 2021 to March 2022 as a Senior Analyst, Interface Developer/LIMS Specialist/System Engineering. During their time at Pfizer, they developed a new workflow in LabWare and maintained the system by fixing bugs and implementing new features. Before that, Kevin worked as a Software Engineer at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions from August 2018 to September 2021. In this role, they designed and developed .NET web applications and automated sample and test tracking in LabWare. Kevin also gained experience in database design and implementation using SQL Server. Prior to joining Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, Kevin worked as an Assistant Developer at the University of South Carolina Aiken from November 2016 to December 2017, where they designed and developed web applications and implemented relational databases. Kevin also had a role as an Information Technology Help Desk Support - Student Worker during their time at the university. Kevin's early career experience includes a role as an Information Technology Help Desk Support at CB&I AREVA MOX Services, LLC in 2015.

Kevin Tam attended the University of South Carolina Aiken from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
