Cathy Torres

Cathy Torres is an experienced Radiological Protection Manager currently serving at Savannah River Remediation since January 2020, specializing in the Defense Waste Processing Facility. Previously, Cathy held multiple roles at Savannah River Remediation LLC from January 1992 to January 2020, including Waste Treatment-Radiological Protection Department Manager, ALARA Coordinator, Interim Radiological Protection Department Manager, Senior Safety & Health Specialist, and First Line Manager for both the DWPF and Liquid Waste Operations. Cathy began their educational journey at Mount Marty University before completing a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at South Dakota State University in 1989.
