Lanie Peterson

Lanie Peterson is a freelance journalist and teacher with extensive experience working with various news organizations. Starting with the Los Angeles Times in the late 1970s, Lanie covered a wide range of topics such as medicine, education, business, labor, and politics. Graduating from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Culture, Lanie has been contributing articles to the Savannah Morning News for several years, focusing on business and feature pieces. Additionally, Lanie has been teaching K-8 students in their spare time.
