Christopher R started their career at Staples in 2000, where they worked in various roles such as Sales, Copy Center, Cash Office Supervisor, Front End Supervisor, Business Machines, and EasyTech. Christopher R held these positions until 2006.

In 2005, Christopher joined Advanced Audio & Video as a Lead Tech. In this role, they were responsible for installing Audio, Video, Integration, and lighting products for a home automation firm. Christopher R collaborated with end-users to understand their needs and designed custom lighting systems to enhance comfort and security. Christopher R held this position until 2011.

From 2011 to 2014, Christopher worked at Savant Systems as a Technical Assistance Center Supervisor. In this role, they oversaw the daily operations of the technical support group and trained technicians for various roles. Christopher R also designed processes to support engineers.

Afterward, Christopher transitioned to the role of Root Cause Analysis Engineer at Savant Systems. Christopher R worked as a product manager, focusing on launching the company's new security experience. Christopher R worked closely with dealers to understand their needs and identified solutions for connected software platforms and applications.

Currently, Christopher is working as a Product Manager - Lighting & Shades at Savant Systems. Christopher R is responsible for organizing and managing the Savant professional lighting suite. Christopher R also develops a cohesive connected experience for lighting professionals and creates the product vision for Savant's lighting solutions, ensuring a positive end-user experience and effective tools for professional installers.

Christopher R Nelson II obtained their Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Cape Cod Community College in 2017. Christopher R also has a certification in Referee obtained from the U.S. Soccer Federation in January 2000.
