Theresa Szoke

Theresa Szoke has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Theresa is currently the VP of Information Technology at Savant Systems, where they are responsible for IT strategy, solutions, and services for both the Savant and GE Lighting business units. Theresa leads a team of over 30 employees and contractors, delivering business applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data/analytics solutions.

Prior to their current role, Theresa served as the Executive Director of IT at GE Lighting, a Savant company. In this position, they were responsible for all strategic and operational IT needs for the GE Lighting business unit. Theresa managed a team of 25 employees and contractors, providing IT infrastructure, applications, data and analytics, and enterprise cybersecurity services.

Theresa's previous roles at GE Lighting include Sr. Director of Technical Product Management, where they managed a team in delivering commercial IT and business intelligence solutions. Theresa also served as the Director of Data and Analytics, leading a global team in developing new reporting outcomes and managing the day-to-day operations of SAP BW and BW on Hana platforms.

Before joining GE Lighting, Theresa worked at General Electric (GE) in their Financial Management Program from 1995 to 1997.

Theresa attended Michigan State University from 1990 to 1995, where they earned both a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Finance, General, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physiology, General.

Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Accounting from Cleveland State University, completing it from 2001 to 2004.
