Geeta Lama has a diverse work experience in the field of media and communications. Geeta started their career as a Web Reviewer at Web Watch and later worked as a Management Trainee at The Press Club, Mumbai. Geeta then joined Concept PR as an Account Executive and handled PR for various clients. Geeta further gained experience as an Assistant Editor at Peppermint Communications Pvt. Ltd., where they supported the editor-in-chief in the publication of a B2B magazine. Geeta also worked at Footprint Global Communications as an Assistant Manager and later joined SPAG Asia as a Manager, focusing on media advocacy and client servicing. Geeta then joined One Source as a Senior Consultant before joining Save the Children, India as part of the media team. Geeta's most recent role was as Media Lead - National Support at Save the Children: India. Geeta is currently serving as the Interim Regional Media Manager for Asia at Save the Children International. Throughout their career, Geeta has demonstrated expertise in media relations, PR campaigns, content creation, and media advocacy.

Geeta Lama has a diverse education history. Geeta completed a Certificate Course in Brand Management: Aligning Business, Brand & Behaviour at the London Business School in 2021. Prior to that, in 2020, they earned a Certificate Course in Humanitarian Communication from the University of Geneva.

In 2013, Geeta received an industry certification in PR & Media Management from the Press Club in Mumbai. Geeta also holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, which they obtained from Delhi University from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, Geeta completed their High School education at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi from 1990 to 1994.

Furthermore, Geeta obtained a High Value Industrial Certification in Public Relations & Media Management from the Press Club in Mumbai in May 2013.
