Mathew Aliyu

Mathew Aliyu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in case management and emergency response. Currently serving as a Case Management Officer at Save the Children International since June 2023, Mathew has previously held multiple roles at the International Rescue Committee, including Governance Officer and Member Country Emergency Team from July 2019 to April 2024. Prior to that, Mathew was a Community Development Officer at Raise Foundation, focusing on gender inclusion, GBV, education, and protection themes from January 2018 to July 2019. Mathew also worked as a Communication and Project Management Specialist at the Center for Child Care and Human Development. Mathew holds an M.Sc. in International Relations and Diplomacy from Ahmadu Bello University and an M.Sc. in Disaster Risk Management from the Federal University of Technology Minna, along with a B.Tech in Food Science and Nutrition from the same institution.
