Maripina Menéndez Carbajal

Maripina Menéndez Carbajal has extensive work experience in various organizations focused on the well-being and rights of children and adolescents. Maripina served as the CEO of Save the Children México, where they successfully expanded operations from 3 to 21 states in Mexico and increased annual revenues from $1 million to $10 million. In addition, Maripina demonstrated strong leadership skills by forming a high-level management team focused on achieving lasting changes in the quality of life for children and adolescents. Maripina has also worked as a Council Member in the Sistema Nacional de Protección de niñas, niños y adolescentes (SIPINNA) and as an Advisor for Consejo Ciudadano de CDMX. Prior to their role at Save the Children México, Maripina served as the CEO of FAI Mexicana, where they expanded operations with the Centers for Community Development in Mexico City and the Metropolitan Area of the State of Mexico. Maripina has also worked as an Officer of Humanitarian Aid at UNICEF. Currently, they hold the position of Counselor at El Centro Derechos de la Niñez y Empresas.

Maripina Menéndez Carbajal attended the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. In 2017-2018, they also attended the IPADE Business School, where they completed a Program for Senior Management (Programas de alta dirección AD2).
