Robert Valentijn has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and fundraising. Robert started their career as a Marketing Intern at World Congress in 2012. Later, they worked at SQPeople as a Captain, responsible for improving donations to NGO's through Direct Dialogue Marketing. Robert then became a Sales Manager at SQPeople, overseeing the performance of the branch. Valentijn transitioned to The Sales Unit, where they served as a Brand Sales Manager, responsible for donor and client acquisition. Robert was also the Brand Operational Manager, overseeing street marketing activities for various A-merk brands. After leaving The Sales Unit, Valentijn joined Emolife Fundraising as an Account Manager Field, managing existing clients and acquiring new business. Most recently, they worked at Save the Children Nederland, starting as a F2F Channel Manager and later becoming the Team Leader of Supporter Acquisition. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Performance Marketing, leading a team in strengthening Save the Children's mission through acquisition, conversions, and increasing online and offline presence.

Robert Valentijn attended Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2014, where they studied International Business. Additionally, in 2011 to 2012, they spent a year at Universidad de Huelva, focusing on Marketing.
