Badar Musa

Senior Safe Schools Adviser (interim) at Save the Children Norway

Badar Musa is an experienced professional in the field of education and advocacy, currently serving as the Advocacy, Campaign and Policy Manager for the LEARN initiative and the Global Co-Lead of the Protecting Children in and Around the School Technical Working Group at Save the Children International since August 2020. Badar has also held the position of Senior Safe Schools Adviser (Interim) at Save the Children Norway since May 2022 and has served as the EiE Cluster Coordinator for the Nigeria Education in Emergencies Working Group since February 2018. Additionally, Badar has been a Desk Officer for the Strengthening Mathematics & Science Education initiative since January 2006 and was previously an Education Planning Officer at TRCN, Abuja from January 2014 to August 2020. Badar holds a Master's Degree in Science Education from the National Open University of Nigeria and a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology from the University of Maiduguri.
