Amy Stones

Amy Stones is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy, organizational performance, and project management, currently serving as Head of Strategy at Save the Children UK since January 2017. In this role, Amy leads the organization's strategic initiatives, governance, and accountability measures to enhance effectiveness. Previously, Amy held various positions at Save the Children UK, including Head of Organisational Performance & Accountability and Head of Divisional Operations for Policy, Advocacy & Campaigns, where responsibilities included managing high-performing teams, driving performance improvements, and overseeing critical initiatives such as the operational response to Covid-19. With a background in operations management at Bond UK and project management roles at Traidcraft Exchange and Global Campaign for Education, Amy is well-versed in financial planning, project management, and evaluation. Amy holds a Master of Science in Development Management from The Open University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Durham University.
