Head Of Learning And Capability Humanitarian Leadership Academy at Save the Children UK

Jennifer Dias has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to the present. Jennifer'smost recent role is as the Head of Learning and Capability Humanitarian Leadership Academy at Save the Children UK, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, Jennifer served as the Learning Solutions Lead at Humanitarian Leadership Academy and as the Senior Manager of Humanitarian Capacity Building at Save the Children UK.

Before joining Save the Children UK, Jennifer worked at Brooke, Action For Working Horses and Donkeys as the UN Advocacy Manager and Advocacy Capacity Building Advisor. Jennifer was responsible for leading and delivering strategic engagement with the UN framework and overseeing the creation and coordination of Brooke's Advocacy Capacity Building Programme.

Jennifer also gained experience at Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale as a Field Manager on the Thai-Burma border and at Jesuit Refugee Service as the Project Director of the Sustainable Livelihoods Programme. Jennifer also served as an Advocacy Advisor on the Watchlist Myanmar (Burma) Advisory Team.

Prior to these roles, Jennifer worked with various organizations including the Committee for Coordination of Services to Displaced People in Thailand (CCSDPT), Karen Human Rights Group (KHRG), International Rescue Committee, Organon, and SOS Children's Villages.

Throughout their career, Jennifer has demonstrated expertise in various areas including advocacy, capacity building, project management, and strategic planning.

Jennifer Dias completed their education history with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Open University Business School, which they pursued from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they attained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Development (Poverty, Conflict and Reconstruction) from The University of Manchester in 2005-2006. Jennifer'sundergraduate studies were carried out at The University of Manchester, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Government from 2000 to 2003.
