Steve Cloran has over 30 years of work experience in various roles. Steve started their career as an Assistant Store Manager/District Trainer for Computerized Office Systems at Sam's Club, where they were responsible for retail management duties and training employees for system conversions. Steve then spent several years at IBM Global Services as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, performing various types of testing and serving as an Office application Admin. Steve then joined the University of Kentucky as an Information Technology Consultant, providing customer service and assisting with department consolidation. Steve later worked at Savi Technology as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, improving the quality of applications and reducing defects. Currently, Steve is a Senior QA Analyst at Ameritas, contributing to software development effectiveness and efficiency through quality assurance tasks.
Steve Cloran obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from The Ohio State University, specifically from the Max Fisher College of Business. Steve attended the university from 1975 to 1979.
After a few years, they pursued further education and completed an MBA in Business Administration from Miami University from 1984 to 1986.
In addition to their formal education, Steve Cloran has obtained various certifications. Steve became a Certified Software Testing/Quality Assurance Engineer from the ISTQB Certification Institute in October 2011. Steve also holds certifications in Server + and A+ from CompTIA, which they obtained in July 2009 and March 2009, respectively. Moreover, they are a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, certified by Microsoft in October 1999.
