Heather Wenzel

Heather Wenzel has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Heather is currently serving as the Vice President at SaVida Health since May 2023. Prior to this, Heather worked at Citizen Advocates, Inc. where they held multiple positions including Associate Vice President of Operations from February 2023 to May 2023, Senior Director of Operations from June 2022 to February 2023, Senior Director of Community Operations from January 2022 to June 2022, Director of Community Living from September 2021 to January 2022, and Director of Community Support Operations from July 2020 to September 2021. Earlier in their career, they worked at the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services as the Deputy Commissioner from February 2015 to July 2020 and as the Medicaid Director from February 2012 to February 2015.

Heather Wenzel has a diverse education history. In 2022, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance from Rutgers University. Before that, in 2021, they earned a Project Management Certificate from Cornell University.

Heather also holds a Master's degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric, which they completed from the State University of New York College at Potsdam from 2002 to 2004. Prior to their Master's degree, they attained a Bachelor's degree in Communications/English Writing from the same institution, studying from 1996 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Heather has achieved a couple of certifications. Heather obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in May 2023. Moreover, in May 2022, they became an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation.
