Rajiv Kumar

Rajiv Kumar has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 18 years. Rajiv is currently working at Saviynt as the Director of Product Management since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Product Manager at Saviynt from May 2019 to April 2021.

Before joining Saviynt, Rajiv worked at Micro Focus from February 2016 to April 2019. There, they served as a Product Owner and Senior Specialist, focusing on Identity Governance and Administration. Rajiv was responsible for leading design, prototyping, and implementation efforts for various products within the Identity Manager suite. Rajiv also played a key role in developing comprehensive requirement documents and high-level designs, conducting security reviews, and mitigating risks associated with potential vulnerabilities.

Prior to Micro Focus, Rajiv worked at NetIQ from October 2013 to January 2016, where they held the position of Architect and Associate Senior Specialist. Their responsibilities included working on design, prototype, and implementation across the Identity Manager suite. Rajiv also played a significant role in envisioning, designing, and developing new product components based on customer interactions.

Rajiv began their career at Novell in July 2007. Rajiv held multiple roles during their tenure, including Lead Specialist, Software Consultant, and Senior Software Engineer, all focused on Identity Manager. Rajiv was responsible for various tasks such as leading projects, providing software consultancy, and contributing to the development of Identity Manager.

Before joining Novell, Rajiv worked at Sasken Communication Tech. Pvt. Ltd from June 2004 to July 2007. Rajiv held the position of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, working on projects related to OMC-U.

Rajiv's early experience includes working at Aztec Software and Technology Pvt. Ltd. from October 2003 to June 2004 as a Developer, specializing in Reveleus.

Rajiv Kumar obtained their B.E. degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Rajiv then pursued an M.S. degree in Software Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2007 to 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Rajiv obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including "Create a Go-To-Market Plan," "Creating a Product-Centric Organization," "Decision-Making Strategies," "Executive Decision Making," "Leading Effectively," "Marketing Foundations: Market Research," "Pitching Projects and Products to Executives," and "Product Management First Steps."
