Maria Gilhooley

Maria Gilhooley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Maria is currently working at Savory Hospitality as the Director of Talent, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at the same company from August 2022 to March 2023. Before joining Savory Hospitality, Maria worked at AREA 17 as an Experience Manager from November 2021 to August 2022. Maria also held the role of People Operations Coordinator at Wondersauce from January 2020 to November 2021. Maria gained experience in restaurant management as a Restaurant Manager at Essex Pearl from October 2019 to January 2020 and as a Restaurant Server/Shift Leader at Greenpoint Fish & Lobster Co. from September 2017 to October 2019. Maria has also worked as a Communications Associate at Columbia Elevator Products, Inc. from October 2012 to December 2018. Additionally, Maria has held various roles in the hospitality industry, including Front of House Consultant at Pheasant from November 2017 to July 2018, Lead Server at Bubby's from October 2013 to September 2017, and Restaurant Manager at The McKittrick Hotel from July 2015 to March 2016. Maria started their career as a Company Manager at the Powerhouse Theatre Apprentice Training Program in June 2011.

Maria Gilhooley attended Boston University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Acting. In addition to their degree, Maria has also obtained certification as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in February 2023. Maria also holds a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, which they obtained in May 2021.
