As an Account Executive at Savoy, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with potential clients regularly to promote Savoy’s comprehensive products and services. You will drive new business revenue by researching and recruiting new broker partners toward the achievement of revenue goals set forth.

You’ll become proficient in all aspects of group health benefits, by carrier, market size and including alternative lines of coverage that Savoy offers. Your success in hitting revenue targets comes from a combination of this knowledge but moreover is realized by the drive and ability to influence a broker to work with us based on our reputation of a promise to deliver. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business revenue by researching and seeking out prospective broker partners, systematically introduce Savoy services to prospects via regularly scheduled touches
  • Host and/or coordinate CE or webinars to attract targeted audiences
  • Embrace Savoy’s value-added “Concierge Service Model” for brokers – Train and coordinate trainings for brokers on ways to differentiate themselves by using our Company’s expertise and/or carrier product knowledge in all markets
  • Assist brokers in gaining efficiencies to grow business by training broker staff on use of technology solutions
  • Continuously identify target markets for broker marketing efforts
  • Identify and become involved with industry associations/organizations for business development purposes
  • Work in tandem with business development team in properly onboarding new broker partners and introducing them to functional departments
  • Understand best practices to interact with Savoy staff
  • Attend carrier trainings and industry related events; Stay up to date with latest industry news, product knowledge and other market trends to provide value to prospects
  • Develop a business plan in advance of each year as a road map for meeting targeted objectives outlining key action steps

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 10+ years of group benefits experience

  • NJ Health and Life License required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Exceptional interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain organization in a fast-paced, changing environment
