Alison Bruckner

Project Manager, Research And Permissions at Savvas Learning

Alison Bruckner has a diverse work history. Alison started their career in 2005 as a Lead Instructor at Willowhill Golf Academy, where they taught golf to children aged 3-13.

After that, they joined Pearson Education, Inc. in 2011 as a Permissions Assistant. In this role, they managed over 350 Legacy Higher Education projects, trained and supervised new hires, and gained experience in contract deciphering and database work.

At Pearson Education, Inc., Alison took on various roles. Alison worked as an Associate Project Manager, managing Higher Education reprints and rich media content for digital programs. Alison conducted in-depth rights reviews, managed vendors, created budgets, and ensured re-clearance aligned with Corporate Rights Strategy.

Later, Alison became a Project Manager, responsible for School (K-12) Literacy and Math programs. Alison managed acquisitions of third party assets, negotiated contracts, and implemented cost-saving measures. Alison also developed positive relationships with rightsholders and provided cost-effective sources and selections.

In 2019, Alison joined Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) as a Project Manager of School (K-12) Literacy and Math programs. Their responsibilities included managing acquisitions, negotiating contracts, budgeting, and understanding and applying copyright laws.

Throughout their career, Alison has demonstrated expertise in project management, rights acquisitions, contract negotiations, vendor management, and understanding copyright laws. Alison has consistently delivered cost-effective solutions and formed positive working relationships with rightsholders.

Alison Bruckner attended Glenbrook South High School from 2001 to 2005, where they completed their high school education. Alison then went on to attend Allegheny College from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English.
