Curriculum Specialist, Math K-12 at Savvas Learning

Christopher D'Erasmo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Christopher currently works as a Curriculum Specialist for Math K-12 at Savvas Learning Company since June 2021. Prior to this role, they were a 3rd/4th Grade Teacher at Austin Independent School District from July 2016 to June 2021. Christopher also worked as a 4th Grade Teacher and Math Lead at Fort Worth ISD from August 2013 to July 2016.

In addition to their teaching experience, Christopher worked at TNTP as a Development Coach and Seminar Instructor from April 2014 to July 2015. Christopher also completed the TNTP Fort Worth Teaching Fellows program as a Teaching Fellow in the top 10% of the cohort in 2013.

Before entering the education field, Christopher served as a Supervisor at Starbucks from May 2011 to May 2013. Christopher also worked as a Technical Support Analyst at Continental Alarm Corp. from January 2006 to January 2011. Lastly, they gained experience as a Writing Consultant at St. John's University from May 2007 to May 2010.

Christopher D'Erasmo holds a Master of Education - MEd degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, which they obtained from Concordia University Texas between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Actuarial Science from St. John's University from 2006 to 2010. Christopher completed their high school education at New Dorp High School, graduating in 2006 from the Math And Science Academy program. In terms of certifications, Christopher received a Principal certification from the Texas Education Agency in January 2019, and they also hold a Teaching Certification for EC-6, 4-8 Generalist, ESL, obtained in June 2013 from the same institution.
