Jen Hodge

Jen Hodge has extensive experience in education and content development. Jen began their career as a 3rd Grade Teacher at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School from January 2004 to May 2005. Jen then worked as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Spring Branch ISD from August 2005 to May 2006. Jen then joined Houston ISD as a Kindergarten Teacher from August 2006 to June 2012. Jen returned to Spring Branch ISD as a First Grade Teacher from August 2015 to June 2016. Jen transitioned into the role of Literacy Content Developer at Pearson from an unknown date in 2012 to 2015. Jen continued in this role at Pearson until May 2020. Currently, they are working as a Literacy Content Developer at Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) starting from May 2020.

Jen Hodge's education history begins in 1999 when they enrolled at Texas A&M University for a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Jen completed their undergraduate education in 2003. Later, in 2008, Jen attended the University of Houston-Downtown to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, which they completed in 2010.
