Kumaran MDL has a strong background in software development and has worked in various companies and roles throughout their career. Kumaran began as a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys in 2012, where they built a space and asset management application using JavaScript, JAVA, JAVA EE, and MySQL. Kumaran also re-architected legacy components and mentored teammates to improve efficiency.

In 2015, Kumaran worked as an Application Developer intern at The Green Labs, where they created a user-friendly website and a back-end e-commerce system. Kumaran identified issues with the existing website and gained approval to redesign it, driving additional business to the company.

From 2016 to 2016, Kumaran served as a Software Developer Intern at TELUS - Department of Transportation. Kumaran built a transportation improvement system and a utility app for error-free data fixes, resulting in a boost in revenue. Kumaran also developed scripts for data migration.

At Pearson, Kumaran worked as an Associate Software Developer from 2017 to 2019. Kumaran built a python tool to modify and deploy packages on AWS S3. Kumaran is an active contributor to the core backend features, developing secure REST APIs, Microservices, and web services for serving digital content. Kumaran re-architected legacy components and initiated the replacement of single-threaded components with multi-threaded executions to improve latency and throughput.

Kumaran MDL completed their Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College Of Engineering between 2008 and 2012. Kumaran then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 2015 and 2017. In addition to their formal education, Kumaran also obtained certifications in Java Programming, Programming in C, and Programming in C++ from NIIT Limited.
