Matthew Schlapa

Matthew Schlapa has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Matthew started their career in 2005 as an Implementation Specialist at Pearson North America, where they were involved in computer lab management, inventory/shipping processes, and remote support for onsite employees. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Sr. Product Support Technician at Pearson, handling customer cases, providing training for Tier 1 agents, and collaborating with Engineering contacts. Matthew then progressed to Associate Systems Engineer, where they trained support teams, managed support escalations, and established new support processes. As a Systems Engineer, Matthew engaged in pre-sales technical conversations, troubleshooting, custom solution design, knowledge management, and training. In 2016, they took up the role of Associate Project Manager / Scrum Master, focusing on customer issue resolution, development relationships, metrics evaluation, and cross-departmental collaboration. In 2020, they joined Savvas Learning Co as an Operations Analyst.

Matthew Schlapa's education history includes attending the East Valley Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Electronics Technology with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Following this, they attended the same institute from 2011 to 2012, during which they pursued a degree in Welding, specializing in Welding Technology/Welder. Lastly, from 2012 to 2013, Matthew Schlapa attended the East Valley Institute of Technology once again, this time pursuing a degree in Collision Repair Technology, with a focus on Collision Repair.
