Merry Chang

Merry Chang has a diverse work experience in the education industry. Merry currently works as a Sales and Service Agent for Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) since 2021. Before this, they were a Representative for Teacher Created Materials starting from 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Regional Agent for Jones & Bartlett Learning from 2011 onwards.

Merry also served as the Taiwan representative for Inspirees Education Group, where they were responsible for book acquisition for Cambridge Scholars Press and representing various publishers in Taiwan. Merry held the position of Editor for Digital Content at Puomo from 2011 to 2017.

Earlier in their career, Merry worked as a Regional Agent for Highlights for Children in 2013 and as an English substitute teacher at an Elementary School from October to December 2011. Merry held the role of Sales Manager at McGraw-Hill Higher Education from 2009 to 2010. From 2001 to 2008, they worked as a Representative for Taiwan and Hong Kong at Houghton Mifflin. Merry began their career in 1999 as a Marketing Manager in the Chinese Publishing Division of Pearson Education, where they worked until 2000.

Merry Chang's education history begins in 1988 when they attended Taipei Municipal Jhongsing Junior High School in Taiwan. The following year, in 1989, Merry Chang enrolled at Benjamin Cardozo High School in the United States. From 1990 to 1994, Merry Chang studied Environmental Science at Queens College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1994, Merry Chang briefly attended Cornell University, focusing on Regional Science.

In addition to their formal education, Merry Chang obtained several certifications. In September 2001, they completed an Intellectual Property Course offered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). In September 2007, Merry Chang attended a "Wisdom Financial Training Course" at the Department of Philosophy and Economics of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Their most recent certification, completed in September 2018, is as a Dreambuilder Coach from the Life Mastery Institute.
