Mircea Goia has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Mircea started their career as a Database Marketing Analyst and Web Developer at Revana, where they worked with SQL Server, Excel, and Powerpoint to analyze and present data. Mircea then founded and served as a Tech Reporter for MyTestBox, an online tech publication focused on web software. Mircea also contributed to The Next Web, a European online tech publication, as a Tech Contributor.
In 2012, Mircea became a Blogger for Adevarul Holding, a leading Romanian newspaper. Mircea wrote about technology, films, life in the USA, travel, and other topics of interest. Despite indicating an end date, Mircea continues to write for Adevarul Holding in their spare time. Additionally, they joined Forbes Romania as a Contributor, primarily writing about technology, the internet, and startups.
Mircea joined the European Commission in 2014 as a Consultant for a brief period. Mircea then founded RomanianStartups.com, a website that brings together information on Romanian technology and internet-related startups, accelerators/incubators, events, established companies, founders, and investors. Mircea has been the Founder of RomanianStartups.com since June 2013 and continues in this role.
Mircea's experience with Pearson (Chandler, Arizona) includes working as a Content Engineer and Business Analyst. Mircea was responsible for developing content and conducting business analysis in this role. Mircea transitioned within Pearson K12 Learning to become a Senior Digital Content Developer - Business Analyst and later an Associate Project Manager at Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning). In these positions, they worked closely with technology teams, project managers, vendors, and offshore teams to deploy K-12 e-learning online products, troubleshoot issues, and improve product quality.
