Paul Stasiewicz has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering and product development. Paul started their career at Lam Research in 1997, where they worked as a Mechanical Engineer III, focusing on designing and developing silicon wafer carrier loading modules for chemical mechanical planarization tools. In 2001, they joined Maxtor as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they were responsible for baseplate design, disk drive environment filtration and sealing, and drive acoustics. During this time, they also worked on the advanced development team for hermetically sealed drives. In 2006, they moved to Ultra Clean Technology as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they configured enclosures for various semiconductor tool processes. Paul specified mass flow controllers, gas line routing, and enclosure designs to meet customer requirements. In 2008, they joined SawStop as a Mechanical Engineer, designing, prototyping, and validating components for safe table saws. Paul also provided engineering support for existing product lines. Paul quickly advanced within the company, becoming an Engineering Manager in 2011, overseeing advanced development, product development, and sustaining activities. Paul implemented workflow processes and ensured compliance with industry regulatory standards. In 2018, Paul was promoted to Director of Product Development at SawStop, where they are responsible for delivering production-ready products aligned with marketing requirements and company deliverables. Paul leverages their diverse team's capabilities and maintains transparent communication with stakeholders to create industry-leading tools. Paul conducts weekly one-on-ones with their team and department executives, providing feedback, addressing concerns, and aligning on changes in deliverables.
