Scott Edwards

VP Finance at SawStop

Scott Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Scott began their career at InFocus Corporation in 1993 as a Sr Financial Analyst, where they managed a team responsible for maintaining and reporting from the Oracle Order Entry and CRM database. Scott also partnered with an Executive Sales VP in leading the revenue forecasting process and managed over $80M in cash.

In 2001, Edwards joined Pixelworks as a Finance Director. In this role, they directed an international team responsible for finance and cost accounting activities, including FP&A, inventory cost accounting, credit and collections, cash management, and corporate governance. Scott led the financial planning process for over $175M in annual revenue, $60M in operating expenses, and 500 employees. Edwards also oversaw the implementation of Oracle 11i with the inventory accounting team.

From 2008 to 2012, Edwards served as Director of Finance at Azuray Technologies. Scott managed all administrative functions, including finance, accounting, and human resources. Edwards also worked closely with the CEO in fund-raising activities and played a key role in raising $10M through venture equity, convertible debt, and the sale of energy tax credits. Scott provided leadership in all FP&A processes, managed audits with KPMG, and handled strategic HR activities.

In 2013, Edwards joined Traeger Pellet Grills, LLC as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Their responsibilities in this role included strategic financial planning and analysis.

Scott Edwards then moved to David H. Sutherland & Co., Inc. in 2015, where they assumed the position of Vice President of Finance and Operations. Scott held this role until 2020.

Currently, Edwards is employed at SawStop as the VP Finance, beginning in October 2020.

Scott Edwards attended Oregon State University from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Financial Management.
