Rene Marrero has had a diverse work experience in various roles within different organizations. In 2018, they were the Director of Operations at Say It With Clay and also worked as an Information Technology Support at Capitol County Children's Collaborative. Prior to that, Rene worked as an Independent Consultant, providing expertise to social service organizations and for-profit agencies. Rene also had experience as the Co-Chair of CNA of Camden NJ at the Community Networking Association of New Jersey. In 2016, they worked as the IIC Regional Development Coordinator at Cooperative Counseling Services. From 2007 to 2016, Rene held multiple roles at Capitol County Children's Collaborative, including Community Resource Manager and Community Resource Assistant. Additionally, they have experience working in the field of education as a Parent Involvement Coordinator, Enrollment Coordinator, and Family Outreach Worker at Dane County Parent Council from 2004 to 2007.
Rene Marrero attended The College of New Jersey from 1996 to 2000. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

Say It With Clay
We believe healing with clay can benefit just about anyone, but we specialize in working with recovering cancer patients, children and adults with developmental disabilities, families affected by loss, former inmates and the blind population. Say It With Clay utilizes a hands-on therapeutic approach using clay to offer clients effective alternative channels for communication. Our mission is to help people with diverse special needs benefit from the therapeutic power of clay. Revealed through a level of relaxation, this process promotes pride, success and motivation for healing. We offer therapeutic programming for individuals, couples, families or groups, at our location or yours. Our programs have been used to facilitate: • Alternative communication skills for those with developmental challenges like autism and ADHD • Mental and emotional healing for recovering cancer patients and/or those dealing with depression • Stress reduction and relaxation for anyone ages 3+ • Corporate staff development and team building • Improvement of socialization skills • Enhancement of fine motor skills • Positive peer interaction And that's just for starters! Say It With Clay has been featured on Comcast's "Best Of The City: New Jersey" and in South Jersey Magazine.
