Geng (Jonathan) Tan

Geng (Jonathan) Tan has over 10 years of experience in product management, business intelligence, and consulting. Geng (Jonathan) began their career in 2010 as a Business Intelligence Intern at CBS Interactive. In 2011, they became an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group. In 2012, they joined Appinions as an Associate Product Manager for their Natural Language Processing Platform. From 2014 to 2015, they were an MBA Product Intern at Croscon, and then a Product Manager at SplashThat.com. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Product Manager at Meta, where they launched a CX management product and sales recommendation system. In 2021, they joined R-Zero as a Senior Product Manager, where they led the product roadmap for an IoT software platform and oversaw its product strategy, GTM plans, and development cycle. Geng (Jonathan) is currently the Product Management Lead at Primer.

Geng (Jonathan) Tan completed a Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering and Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2010. In 2014 and 2015, they received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, specializing in Innovation and Product Management. In April 2015, they obtained a Front-End Web Developer Nanodegree from Udacity and is currently pursuing a MEAN stack developer certification from Fullstack Academy of Code.
