Jules Ferree

Jules Ferree is the current President of Brands & Ventures HYBE America and EVP of Brands at SB Projects. Jules has over 20 years of experience in the music industry, with a focus on digital marketing and business strategy.

Ferree began their career at Island Def Jam & Universal Republic, where they served as Senior Director of Digital & New Business from September 2011 to February 2013. In this role, they were responsible for identifying, cultivating, and leading the digital marketing and business strategy for the 220+ artists signed to Island Def Jam and Republic Music Groups.

During their time at Island Def Jam & Universal Republic, Ferree grew existing revenue, solicited and created new revenue streams across all things digital, including brand partnerships, mobile, social, web, and direct to consumer. Jules also crafted multi-faceted brand integration programs for artists, encompassing branded content, in-video product placement, tour sponsorship and activation, events, and digital experiences.

Ferree was the collaborative architect and manager of the award-winning Rihanna UNLOCKED digital campaign that drove over 1 billion impressions in fan engagement and awareness, encompassing a robust experience revealing their 6th studio album, TALK THAT TALK. The campaign won several awards, including Best Use of Social Media – IAC Award, MediaPost Award, Communicator Award, Webby Honorable Mention.

In their current role at HYBE America & SB Projects, Ferree is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies for a wide range of clients. Jules has continued to build upon their previous successes, developing innovative campaigns that drive results and exceed expectations.

Their manager is Scooter Braun, Founder. and Jen Coen - Director, Brands & Ventures reports to Jules Ferree. Jules Ferree works with Luisa Moreno - Head of Digital, Jen Mcdaniels - President of Management, and Michelle Katz - VP, Business & Legal Affairs.
