Funding Liquidity Financial Risk Manager Treasury at SBAB Bank

Börje Forsman began their work experience in 1980 as a Controller at Richard Hägglöf Fondkommission AB, where they worked until 1985. Börje then joined Stadshypotek AB in 1986, where they worked as a Senior Vice President, responsible for Funding and ALM. Börje held this position until 1997, during which they developed and managed funding, asset/liability management, and risk management. After leaving Stadshypotek AB, Forsman joined Handelsbanken as the Head of Authority Reporting, where they were responsible for all Swedish authority reporting for the parent company and group. Börje also worked on developing authority reporting systems and a new accounting system for the group. Börje also worked as the Liquidity and Capital Management Specialist and as a Senior Vice President in Funding and ALM at Handelsbanken. Forsman joined Swedbank in 2010 as a member of the Treasury Department, specializing in Funding and Liquidity. In 2012, they joined SBAB Bank as the Funding, Liquidity & Financial Risk Manager in the Treasury. Finally, in 2017, Forsman retired from bank and finance work.

Börje Forsman began their education in 1970 at Kärrtorps gymnasium, where they pursued studies in economics until 1973. Following this, they enrolled at Stockholm University from 1976 to 1979, obtaining an Ekonomexamen (Economics Degree) and a Fil Kand (Bachelor of Arts degree). Börje'sfield of study throughout their educational journey remained economics.
