Hala Abdulqayyoum

Hala Abdulqayyoum has a diverse work experience in the field of nutrition. Hala started their career as an intern clinical dietitian at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in 2012, followed by internships at King AbdulAziz University and King Fahad Hospital in 2013. In 2016, Hala joined Saud Al-babtain Cardiac Centre as a clinical dietitian and later became the Head of Nutrition Department in 2019 until 2021. Hala then worked as a supervisor nutritionist at the First Health cluster in the Eastern Province from February to September 2021. Currently, they are the Head of Nutrition Department at SBCC starting from January 2023.

Hala Abdulqayyoum earned a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition/Nutritionist from King AbdulAziz University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their degree, Hala has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they became a Clinical Nutrition Specialist through the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). Hala also received Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the Saudi Heart Association in 2012 and from the American Heart Association in an unspecified year. In 2019, Hala obtained certification as a Diabetes Educator from the International Diabetes Federation and became Certified in Healthcare Quality through the American Institute for Healthcare Quality in February 2019.
