Lilia Alexander

Lilia was appointed Group General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer and joined SBM Offshore in October 2022, supervising the Legal, Compliance and Insurance functions. Lilia brings to SBM Offshore over 20 years of international legal advisory and leadership experience, in private practice and in-house, with a particular focus on the energy sector. She has previously held positions of VP Legal / General Counsel at Vestas, and most recently, Executive General Counsel, Subsea Production Systems & Services, and Global Executive General Counsel, New Technologies, at Baker Hughes. Lilia holds degrees from the University of Adelaide, Australia, a postgraduate diploma of Legal Practice from the University of South Australia, and Master of Laws (Oil & Gas) from the University of Aberdeen, UK.
