Dominic Chiappone

Dominic Chiappone is an experienced producer and writer with a diverse background in journalism and communications. Currently serving as a Producer-in-Residence at Local 5 News We Are Iowa, Dominic also contributes as a Basketball Beat Writer for NunesMagician.com and a Contributing NBA Writer for The Lead. Previous roles include Senior Staff Writer and Assistant News Editor at The Daily Orange, with experience at Syracuse University Office of Admissions as a Student Intern, and as a Press Intern in the offices of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the S.I. Newhouse School and the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, respectively, along with a minor in Spanish.
