Alexander Britton

Alexander Britton is an experienced news editor and journalist with a significant career in digital and traditional media. Currently serving as the Digital News Editor at Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia since November 2021, Alexander leads coverage of major news events, manages a team of journalists, and applies data analytics to inform editorial decisions. Previously, Alexander was the Head of Overnight Operations at PA Media, overseeing news coverage and video production, and held various roles including reporter and editor at The Nottingham Post. Alexander holds a Graduate Certificate in Leadership from TAFE NSW, an MA in Newspaper Journalism from Nottingham Trent University, and a BA in French Studies from The University of London Institute in Paris, among other qualifications.
