Richard Jang

Prior to joining SoftBank Ventures Asia, Richard was a member of the leadership team at Function of Beauty, a New York City-based startup that focuses on creating customized beauty products. At Function of Beauty, he led the company’s finance functions, spearheaded strategic initiatives, and managed various fundraising projects. Prior to his role at Function of Beauty, Richard was an associate at MacAndrews & Forbes and Hahn & Company, where he was responsible for identifying and evaluating investments in companies in the consumer, healthcare, and transportation sectors. Richard began his career as an analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York. Richard graduated with an A.B in Economics from Harvard University.
