Jeff Leieritz is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and public relations. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Communications at the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services since June 2019, Jeff has held multiple leadership roles in communications throughout their career, including positions at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and GSA as a Senior Communications Advisor. Previously, Jeff managed media relations for the Associated Builders and Contractors, significantly increasing media coverage, and held various roles within the U.S. House of Representatives, contributing to media and new media strategies. Jeff's political campaign experience includes roles as a Director of Voter Contact and Political Director across several electoral campaigns. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from San Diego State University, as well as a certificate in International Relations and Affairs from New College, Oxford University.
