Lea Duempelmann

Lea Duempelmann has five years of work experience in the field of epigenetics. Lea began their career in 2011 as a M.Sc. in Epigenetics at the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research. In 2013, they moved to the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA) as a Researcher. In 2014, they joined the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as a Scientific Associate II. In 2016, they returned to the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research to pursue a PhD in Epigenetics. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bern and Scailyte AG.

Lea Duempelmann completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molecular Biology from the University of Basel in 2011. Lea then went on to complete a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Epigenetics from the same university in 2013. Finally, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular Biology Epigenetics from the University of Basel in 2020.
