Steve Lester

Steve Lester has extensive work experience in project management and various roles within the telecom and utility industries. Steve started their career at GlaxoSmithKline in 1998, where they held positions as Business Planning Analyst, Network and Telecomms Team Leader, and Senior Network Operations Manager. In these roles, they provided leadership, managed operational projects, and ensured the accomplishment of objectives. Steve also worked at Moatside Consulting Limited as a Director, where they offered project management services and consultancy for domestic PC support and utility cost savings. Steve then joined Network Rail as a Project Manager, overseeing infrastructure projects and leading a Depot Improvement Project. Steve also worked at Glaxo Smith Kline as a Project Manager for Network Services Transition and later as a Project Manager - Cyber Security. In 2020, they joined Network Rail again as a Service Design & Transition Senior Analyst. Prior to that, Steve worked as a Project Manager at Mere Consulting Ltd. and Scala. Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and technical skills.

Steve Lester attended Melbourn Village College from 1981 to 1986 for their secondary education. Steve then went on to attend Cambridge College of Further Education from 1986 to 1988, where they pursued a BTEC degree in Business Studies.
