Nicolas Bouin began their career in 2010 as an Assistant à maîtrise d'ouvrage at Suravenir. Nicolas then joined Thales Services as an Ingénieur JAVA/GWT in the same year. In 2012, they became an Ingénieur études et développement at Effitic, where they created the website and intranet of the Commission National de la Coopération Décentralisée for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and refactored an existing application. In 2015, they took on the role of Responsable d'agence and Ingénieur d'Affaires at ALTEN, where they recruited young talent, explored and prospected new clients, and understood their needs to propose the appropriate profiles. In 2021, they became IT Manager at LR TECHNOLOGIES - GROUPE, where their roles included recruiting passionate people for IT processes, understanding and prioritizing business needs, and transcribing them technically. Finally, in 2022, they became a Customer Success Manager at Scalair.

Nicolas Bouin obtained their baccalauréat Scientifique from LICP - Tourcoing in 2006, with an Option Sciences de l'ingénieur. In 2011, they graduated from Institut supérieur d'électronique et du numérique with a degree in Ingénieur généraliste in Electronique et Technologies Numériques. In 2012, they obtained a First Certificate in English (FCE) from Cambridge. In 2007, they obtained an Association Française des premiers secours (AFPS).
