Jose Manuel Vasquez

Jose Manuel Vasquez has worked in the IT industry since 2000. Jose Manuel began their career as a Consultor/Desarrollador for Synergy Consultores in 2000, where they were responsible for the analysis, design, and development of web applications for the Integrated Information System of the Secretary of Education of the Mayor's Office of Bogotá. Jose Manuel then moved to Servicios y Comunicaciones Globales, C.A. in 2001, where they participated in the first phase of the design and development of the Infositios Information System (a web application based on Oracle8, Java, and JSP/Servlets). In the same year, they began working for Consorcio Credicard as a Jefe de Proyecto and Analista I and II, where they were responsible for the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of applications in AS/400 and web environments, as well as the administration of web and mail servers under AS/400 and Linux environments. From 2007 to 2015, they worked as a Software Development Manager and Software Development Lead at Locatel Venezuela, where they were responsible for the supervision, analysis, design, and implementation of applications in various platforms, including Windows, Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Web, database, SQL Server, .NET Framework, .NET Compact Framework, SAP ECC, and SAP BI/BW. Jose Manuel then moved to Cipher Business Solutions in 2015, where they worked as a Senior Consultant. Most recently, they have been working as a Cloud Data Engineer for Escala 24x7 Inc. since 2017.

Jose Manuel Vasquez obtained their Ingeniero en Computación degree from Universidad Simón Bolívar between 1995 and 2001. Jose Manuel obtained their ITIL Certificate. Foundation Certificate in IT- Service Management in November 2006. In November 2016, they obtained certifications from Code School for App Evolution With Swift, Cracking the Case With Flexbox, Digging Into Django, Fundamentals of Design, JavaScript Road Trip Part 3, The Elements of Web Design, and Try Django. In August 2009, they obtained the C_TAW12_70 Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 certification from SAP. In October 2017, they obtained the Google Certified Professional - Data Engineer certification from Google Cloud Certified. In September 2018, they obtained the Introduction to Cloud Identity certification from Coursera. In October 2017, they obtained the Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization certification from Coursera. In September 2017, they obtained the Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform Specialization certification from Coursera. In December 2017, they obtained the Introduction to Git for Data Science Course certification from DataCamp. In April 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. In February 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
