Juan Tenías

Juan Tenías began their career in 2004 as a Network Designer for Pinto & Salom Comunicaciones C.A., where they conducted site surveys, estimated IT infrastructure requirements, managed workforce on field installation of new networking hardware, and designed and implemented new network facilities. In 2006, they became a Telecom Project Engineer for PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., where they developed communication solutions. In 2009, they became a Telecom Leader for Petrosucre Empresa Mixta (CVP PDVSA–Eni)–P.to La Cruz–(Venezuela), where they were in charge of all Telecom Infrastructure and developed Telecom projects from conceptual phase to implementation and handover. In 2018, they became a Sr. Network Engineer for Bayer Crop Science. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Cloud Engineer for Escala 24x7 Inc.

Juan Tenías received their Ingeniero en Computacion from Universidad de Oriente (VE) between 2000 and 2006. Juan has since obtained a number of certifications, including Prisma Cloud Visibility, Compliance, and Governance from Palo Alto Networks in April 2021, Cisco Certified Network Associate R&S from Cisco in October 2019, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2022, AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020, Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing and Switching) from Cisco in February 2020, Cisco Certified Networking Professional - Enterprise from Cisco in February 2020, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation from Cisco in February 2020, and Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core from Cisco Systems in February 2020.
