BIM Specialist at Scaled Robotics

Michele Di Maggio is currently a BIM Specialist at Scaled Robotics. Prior to this, they worked as a BIM Specialist at Sapienza Università di Roma - CITERA from April 2020 to June 2020. There, they were responsible for the preliminary project for the realization of an interactive museum and a Restoration school at Palazzo Silvestri Rivaldi in Rome city centre, implementing new H-BIM methodology tools. They also modelled the orography of the Velia historical hill once located next to the Colosseum and part of the ancient Gardens of the Palace removed in 1932 for the construction of Via dei Fori Imperiali, as well as the Nymphaeum of S. Francesco and the existing scaffolding used for its restoration, in order to generate new standards to be applied during the next steps of the process. Additionally, they investigated a possible implementation of the BIM model in a GIS environment (using the ArcGIS Online 3D Scene Viewer for the creation of a virtual database accessible by Museum/School/Construction Site users on smart platforms).

Before that, Michele Di Maggio worked as a Venue Facility Designer at OBS - OLYMPIC BROADCASTING SERVICES from September 2018 to March 2019.

Michele Di Maggio is a certified architect who has also obtained a certification in Revit Architecture from CICE, La Escuela Profesional de Nuevas Tecnologías. Michele also holds a BIM Manager Autodesk official Master's degree from CICE Escuela Profesional de Nuevas Tecnologías.
