Bill Anderson

Bill Anderson has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Bill began in 1980 as a Staff Software Engineer at Ampex, then moved to Cray Research in 1989 as a Technical Support Specialist. In 1995, they became a Technical Consultant for the Industrial Light + Magic Division of Lucasfilm. In 1999, they took on the role of Senior Research and Development Engineer at Lucasfilm. In 2008, they moved to Cray Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst. In 2012, they joined FusionIO as a System Engineer, then in 2014 they moved to SanDisk as a Staff Systems Architect. In 2016, they became an Emerging Applications Technologist at Western Digital, where they championed an initiative to apply WD storage products in novel ways and provided technical leadership for the ME200 product. In 2021, they joined ScaleFlux as an Enterprise Sales Engineer, and in 2022 they retired.

Bill Anderson attended California State University - East Bay where they studied Computer Science.
