Dan Quirk has a long history of marketing experience in the B2B SaaS space. Their career began in 2009 when they were an intern at Selective Insurance. In 2010, they became a College Basketball Writer for SB Nation. Dan then moved to Square 1 Bank in 2012 as an Analyst. In 2013, they began working at Salsa Labs as a Marketing Specialist, where they won the AMA Pittsburgh Technology Product Marketer of the Year award. Dan was promoted to Marketing Manager and then Marketing Director, where they managed the marketing budget, marketing team, and agency partners for the company. In 2015, they worked as a Marketing Consultant for IAM Robotics. In 2018, they joined SmartBug Media as a Marketing Strategist. In 2021, they became the Host of Go-to-Market Excellence Podcast, and in 2022 they became a Co-Host of The Data Room Podcast and a Member of RevOps Co-op. Dan is currently Co-Founder and Head of Marketing at scaleMatters, where they offer comprehensive RevOps-as-a-Service for early and growth stage B2B companies.

Dan Quirk has an education history that includes a B.S. in Business Management from Grove City College, a Marketing Strategy Graduate Certificate from Cornell University Graduate School, and a study abroad experience at Universidad Pablo de Olavide. Dan also holds several certifications, including a Marketing Strategy Certificate from Cornell University obtained in April 2015, a Hubspot Sales Software Certification and Inbound, Inbound Marketing, Sales Enablement, and HubSpot Marketing Software Certifications from HubSpot obtained in September 2018, an Email Marketing Certification from HubSpot obtained in August 2016, and an Advocate Marketing Certification from Influitive obtained in April 2015.
