Luca Torella

Luca Torella is an accomplished software engineer manager with extensive experience in mobile application development, particularly for iOS. At Scandit since September 2015, Luca has held positions as software engineer manager and senior software engineer, contributing to the iOS SDK and rewriting the mobile layer of the SDK. Previous roles include iOS software engineer at Trainline and blinkbox music, where notable projects involved API migrations and developing key application frameworks. As a co-founder of Shoppaz, Luca developed a successful iPhone app that reached the final selection round at AngelPad and Alchemist. Additional experience includes significant contributions as a Cocoa developer and various roles in academia. Luca holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Università di Siena and multiple degrees in the field from institutions in Italy and Spain.
